NStCB Adopt Singrijan Village

Under the Financial Inclusion program as declared by the Govt. of India and the State Govt. The Nagaland State Cooperative Bank has adopted Singrijan village as a model village on 09 th July 2011 by its NSA branch. The M.O.U. was signed in the presence of Shri B.K. Thadani Managing Director of NSCB between the village council of Singrijan Village and NSA branch of the Bank.

With a view to extend all types of agricultural loan to the farming community to improve the socio economic condition of the rural people through SHG & JLG, the bank had taken up village adoption program in the rural areas of Nagaland.

In this connection, a meeting was organized by the Singrijan Village Council which was chaired by Shri Teju Pradhan Head G.B. of the village. Shri B.K. Thadani M.D. of the Bank advised the villagers to utilize the facilities provided by the bank judiciously so that the bank & the villagers will be benefited. The Sr. Manager of NSA Branch Shri Mehopi Kera also spoke on the occasion & also expressed his happiness in adopting the village. He suggested that the village should have its V.D.B. a/c maintained in the branch. Shri Heera Chettri, Officer of the bank also spoke on the occasion in his own dialect.

The meeting was ended with vote of thanks pronounced by Shri Hari Mishra Chairman of the Village Council.
