NStCB launch JLG scheme at Tuensang

The Nagaland State Co-operative Bank Ltd, for the first time launched JLG scheme at Tuensang through Eletheros Christian Society(ECS),a leading NGO of the State from Tuensang District on 26th July 2011. The scheme is meant for the poor farmers and micro enterprise to improve the socio economic condition of the rural people.

The scheme was launched by Smti Lalam Doungel, GM(Cr), NSCB and letter of credit were handed over to 178 beneficiaries and accentuate the beneficiaries to make use of the loan judiciously and set example for others.

The program was chaired by Shri V K Disong, Nodal Office, Micro Finance, NSCB, the other speaker who exhorted the beneficiaries were Shri S Yemba Chang, Director, NSCB for Tuensang District, Shri Bendangnungsang, AGM(Agri), NSCB, on behalf of the Bank and Shri Chongsen, Progam Manager and Smti Bendangsonla Cordinator, ECS on behalf of the ECS. The ECS and beneficiaries thanked NSCB for introducing the scheme for the first time which they termed as a mile stone in the development initiatives taken in the District.
